Ophthalmology Center in Brovary
BINOCULARVision therapy in Brovary
A modern non-surgical course of procedures on specialized training devices and computer programs that helps improve vision and ease eye strain. The sessions train the eye muscles responsible for focusing and help hold back the progression of myopia. The course runs under an ophthalmologist’s supervision, and every device is right here in our center at 8-B Chornovola St.

What vision therapy is
In vision therapy, the eyes are trained on specialized devices and with computer programs. At BINOCULAR the course combines several modern methods aimed at:
- slowing the progression of myopia (nearsightedness);
- training the muscles inside the eye that control focusing;
- improving how the visual system works;
- increasing accommodative reserve, the eye’s spare capacity to shift focus between near and far objects.
Regular attendance gives the best result. The sessions work alongside the glasses or contact lenses your doctor has prescribed, rather than replacing them.
Who the doctor may recommend it for
The doctor decides after an eye exam. The course may be recommended when:
- myopia is progressing and needs to be held back alongside other treatment;
- the eyes tire quickly from reading, study or close work;
- the eyes struggle to refocus when looking from near to far;
- the two eyes do not work well together (impaired binocular vision).
Children can take the course too. An ophthalmologist examines your child, explains whether the course is indicated and plans the sessions with you. Read more about pediatric eye care.
When you need urgent care instead
Vision therapy is not for acute problems. Sudden worsening of vision, eye pain with redness, flashes or a “curtain” over your vision need urgent care. At BINOCULAR it costs from 500 UAH. Outside the center’s opening hours, call 103 (ambulance) in such cases.
Devices and programs used in the course
All the equipment for the course is here in our Brovary center, so there is no need to travel to Kyiv for sessions:
- Macular stimulator
- Amblyopanorama
- ASO ZOOM
- Synoptophore
- Cheiroscope
- Flipper lens exercises
- Visual relaxation programs
- OKOLO VISION
- NeuroCore
For myopia, BINOCULAR measures the length of the eye with a biometer. Repeat measurements show how the eye is growing and how treatment is working. For detailed imaging of the retina and optic nerve, the center also offers OCT and Angio-OCT.
